St Nicholas Priory Community Asset Transfer
In 2016 EHBT embarked on a project to prepare for a community asset transfer of St Nicholas Priory from Exeter City Council to EHBT in order to extend visitor access and community use of this historic building. This is the west wing of the four-sided priory, and contained the priory kitchen, parlour, guest bedroom, servants’ room and solarium. It is adjacent to the north refectory wing already owned by EHBT (21 The Mint). We have now taken over St Nicholas Priory on licence from Exeter City Council while the Heads of Terms for a 99-year lease are completed, hopefully early in 2018.
